    Description

This is a 1928 United States Gold Certificate. On the front the note says "This Certifies That There Have Been Deposited In The Treasury Of The United States Of America Ten Dollars In Gold Coin Payable To The Bearer On Demand". Over the gold seal on the left it reads "This Certificate Is A Legal Tender In The Amount Thereof In Payment Of All Debts And Dues Public And Private". Hamilton's likeness graces the center of the note. Woods/Mellon are the signatures on this piece. The serial number is A23702711A. The reverse of the note features the US Treasury building. This piece is in decent condition with a few drawbacks. There are fold lines that are horizontal and vertical. I can see two pin holes on the left hand side as well (which I have added a picture of). However, this gold certificate is still quite beautiful! Please see the pictures to get a better idea of condition.
Upon purchase, this note will be mailed with insurance. Free shipping *within the US* is included with this listing. We will bill for foreign shipping.
