1990's Matchless Mark Sampson Era RV-1 Tube Driven Dimension Reverb Unit - RV1

Here is a very rare Matchless product from the early 1990's. Mark Sampson era RV-1 Tube driven reverb unit. Built like a tank. I think the color is called elephant grey. This unit provides subtle dimensional reverb with some output and tone shaping. This is not a big "hall" reverb. Adds a little depth and can get a very stiffer room reverb. Please DO NOT bid on this to "try" it and later want to return it. I cannot guarantee that this sounds like another RV1 unit you had in the past as all of these were hand built. This one seems to have a little less volume on the output compared to a buddy of mine's. May be just a tube swap? I know some people put AT7's in the place of AX7's for less output. I don't really want to access the tubes so I don't know what is currently installed. I am not an amp tech just a guy who likes cool stuff and am selling off some of my best gear that I am no longer using. I do not know if anyone changed any of the tubes. I can say that the unit works and it will be boxed up very securely. I even have an old Matchless box that I kept from a RV1 I had 20 years ago !!
