    Description

    Blue Snakeskin Pattern Tolex!
    Electic Blue Snakeskin Pattern Tolex!
    Blue and Black Snakeskin pattern!
Super creepy look for your next cabinet project!
    The
18" width means less waste! Since most speaker cabinets are only 12-14 inches deep, the 18" roll width can save you lots of money!
Sold per yd. (Buy a quantity of one and get a piece 18"x36", buy two and get 18"x72" etc).
PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO MANUFACTURERS TOLERANCES, THE ROLL WIDTH CAN VARY UP TO ABOUT 1/4", MEANING THAT THE WIDTH OF THE ACTUAL PIECE YOU RECEIVE COULD VARY FROM 17-3/4" TO ABOUT 18-1/4".
If the 18" width isn't quite wide enough for your project, we also sell this tolex in 34" wide rolls. We also have handy 2x12 and 4x12 kits. We still have the tolex in the full 54" wide rolls but this is now available
    only on our website.

    Measuring and Installation Tips
How much will you need for your cabinet?
It's best to try to wrap the cabinet with as few seams as possible, so normally you'll want to just measure the perimeter of the cabinet (top, bottom, and both sides), and order a piece of tolex long enough to wrap in one piece. For example if you have a cabinet 16in high, 24in wide and 12in deep, you'll need a piece at least 80in long (24+16+24+16 = 80). Since tolex is sold per yd, (36") you would need 3yds.
Note that this example cabinet is just 12in deep so our 18in wide material should give you plenty to work with. Just remember to allow for the front and rear wrap around. Also, if your cabinet has a front and/or rear panel, you'll need to add material accordingly.
    What glue?
Latex contact cement is the preferred choice. Its water soluble which means that it cleans up easy and there's no caustic fumes, and it's easy to find at just about any hardware store or home center. Just make sure you get the latex kind - the label will say water based or non-flammable. Follow the directions on the can. Apply with a disposable brush for small projects or a small roller for larger areas.
