Milkman Sound The Amp 19" Rack Version - Vintage King Exclusive
. The Amp is a 50-watt into 8 Ohms guitar amplifier with Class D power section originally available in a pedalboard-friendly stompbox. Now The Amp is available in a 19-inch rack-mount version that is perfect for your recording studio.
The preamp of The Amp centers on a single 12AX7 running at high voltage in a discrete Class A circuit. Just like a guitar amplifier, the tube preamp reacts to what a player is playing, generating harmonics and a sweet sounding high fidelity tube tone that we all know and love.
In terms of dialing in your sound, the circuit features a master knob, a volume knob and tube-based EQ with control over treble and bass. The Amp also features beautiful on-board reverb and tremolo effects. The reverb is controlled via a singular knob, while you can perfect your tremolo sounds with speed and depth controls. Both effects can be turned on and off via footswitch.
The Milkman Sounds and Vintage King rack-mount version of The Amp offers a ¼” instrument input on the front panel and two different output options on the back. Engineers can send their signal straight to an interface or patch bay via the balanced XLR output and to their monitors of choice by way of the two ¼” speaker outputs. There is also a button for controlling ground lift on the back of the unit.
Milkman Sounds is a San Francisco-based amp maker led by Tim Marcus. While Tim originally set out to make high headroom amplifiers for pedal steel players, he continuously evolves his line of high-quality products to fit a number of different needs. For this Vintage King exclusive version of The Amp (and all of his other products), he sources the highest grade components he can find to deliver the tone guitarists crave.

Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping to the lower 48 states Via FedEx. All of our items ship via FedEx. On checkout, it may look like you are selecting a UPS shipping method, but the item will be shipped via the equivalent FedEx method.
Import Duties and Tax
Since import taxes and/or duties that your government might impose on products shipped from the United States may apply, you (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.
Undeliverable/Rejected Package
If your package was rejected by your local Customs Bureau or the shipment could not be delivered and was returned to Vintage King Audio for any reason, we are not responsible for the shipping costs.
Free Extended Warranty
All new items that Vintage King carries are subject to our FREE extended warranty protection. Basically, if the manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on your product, then you are covered under the same warranty terms for a total of 2 years from the time of initial shipment. Likewise, if the manufacturer offers a 5-year warranty, then you receive a total of 6 years of coverage when purchased through Vintage King. We add 1 year to your standard manufacturer's warranty period, FREE of charge, whatever the manufacturer's warranty period may be.
Duties and tax for warranty and damage replacement items
International Duties and tax for warranty and damage replacement items may apply. Even though you may have paid shipping, taxes or duty on your original order, it is IMPORTANT to understand that your government may impose duties and taxes for warranty items or replacement items damaged during shipment from the United States for the new order. You (the customer), are solely responsible for shipping charges, taxes, and duties, once goods arrive in your country.
Used Item Warranties
Vintage King offers an industry-leading level of technical service and warranty support on our used and vintage items. Our used item warranty periods are as follows:
Analog Outboard Gear – 1 Year
Microphones – 1 Year (excluding capsules, tubes, and ribbon elements)
Speakers – 1 Year (excluding drivers)
Digital Outboard Gear – 30 Days
Return Policy
We do our best to help you choose the perfect gear, but if you don't love it in the first 30 days after receipt, please contact us through eBay for a return authorization.
